It starts with Luke Skywalker battling his father, Darth Vader, for the second time. (The first was in The empire strikes back.). During this, Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious is trying to turn Luke to the dark side of the force. Luke manages to cut one of Vader's mechanical hands off. At one point, Sidious starts shooting force lightning at Luke; making him back onto the floor. During this, Vader is looking between his son, Luke, and the Emperor; as if deciding between killing Sidious, to save his son, or serving Sidious. After a few minutes, Vader makes his decision. He grabs Sidious, and throws him into the Death Star's main reactor, thus killing Sidious. Then, since Vader, Luke's father, is injured, Luke has to drag him away to some spot on the Death Star. Vader asks Luke to take his his, (Vader's) helmet off so he could look at his son with his own eyes. Luke replies: "But you'll die!" Vader responds something like: "I know. It's all over now." So Luke takes Vader's helmet off. Luke looks at Vader's bald, scarred head. After a few minutes, Vader dies. Luke supposedly flies back down to the forest moon Endor; for a celebration of the destruction of the Empire. Note: During the battle, the ships outside are trying to destroy the Death Star.

My favorite parts of the celebration are: The Ewoks using Stormtrooper heads as drums, and the part wher ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin Skywalker appear. Can you see why Return of the Jedi is probably my favorite movie so far? Enjoy!
